Paper Abstract:      The article discusses the issues of information systems designed for large multidivisional and distributed organizations, including transnational corporations. The authors described a business model and a data structure specific to the distributed organizations. The models take into account both, the point of view of enterprise information systems, including ERP systems, i.e. transaction processing systems, and the viewpoint of analytical software or business intelligence systems.
